Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

The FUDMA Journal of Management Sciences welcomes submissions from academics, researchers, and professionals across the globe.

Language of Publication

All manuscripts must be written in English.

Review Process

The journal operates a double-blind peer review process to ensure objectivity and academic quality.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

Manuscript Length

Minimum length: 5,000 words

Maximum length: 8,000 words, including references

Abstract

  • Maximum of 250 words
  • The abstract should clearly state the purpose of the study, methodology, key findings, conclusion and recommendations.

Keywords

A minimum of three (3) and a maximum of five (5) keywords should be provided immediately after the abstract.

Formatting Guidelines

Font type: Times New Roman

Font size: 12

Line spacing: 1.5

Margins: 1 inch on all sides

Text alignment: Justified

Referencing Style

All manuscripts must strictly follow the American Psychological Association (APA), 7th Edition referencing style.

STRUCTURE OF MANUSCRIPT

Submitted manuscripts should be structured as follows:

  1. Title Page
  2. Abstract
  3. Introduction
  4. Literature Review
  5. Methodology
  6. Results and Discussion
  7. Conclusion and Recommendations
  8. References
  9. Appendices (where applicable)

SUBMISSION CHECKLIST

Authors must confirm that:

  • The manuscript is original and has not been published previously
  • The manuscript is not under consideration by another journal
  • The abstract does not exceed 250 words
  • APA 7th edition referencing style is strictly followed
  • The manuscript has passed plagiarism screening
  • Tables and figures are properly labeled and cited
  • The manuscript is submitted in Microsoft Word format

PLAGIARISM POLICY

The FUDMA Journal of Management Sciences maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism. All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software.

  • Acceptable similarity index: not more than 15%, excluding references
  • Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be rejected outright
  • Self-plagiarism and duplicate publication are not permitted

PEER REVIEW PROCESS

  1. Initial editorial screening for scope and formatting compliance
  2. Double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers
  3. Editorial decision communicated to authors:
  • Accept
  • Minor Revision
  • Major Revision
  • Reject

Average review duration: 4 weeks

PUBLICATION FREQUENCY

The FUDMA Journal of Management Sciences is published biannually in:

  • June
  • December

Authors retain copyright of their articles. All published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) license, permitting unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction provided the original work is properly cited.

OPEN ACCESS POLICY

The FUDMA Journal of Management Sciences operates a full open-access policy, allowing free and unrestricted access to all published articles.

ARCHIVE

The archive section provides access to all past volumes, issues, and published articles in downloadable PDF format.

CALL FOR PAPERS

The Journal of Management Sciences invites original manuscripts for publication in forthcoming issues. Submissions must align with the journal’s aims and scope and comply strictly with the submission guidelines.

ONLINE SUBMISSION SYSTEM

Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts through the journal’s Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. Where necessary, submissions may also be accepted via official journal email.
